Katerina Kosyanenko continues in the tradition of Ukrainian classical painting. Her pictures are the embodiment of unique Ukrainian imagery.
Her works are intertwined with tradition and easily recognizable by her own originality.
She is master of the art of interpretation of complex pictorial solutions, expressive textures and subtle nuances.
Every detail on the canvas, every character plays a specific and often meaningful role.
Before starting work, she studied historical and art books.
Fairly often the artist uses in her work, elements or style of icons from the Ukrainian Baroque and Italian Renaissance painting era.
Pictures of Katerina Kosyanenko are always filled with spiritual harmony and visual beauty.
The paintings from the artist are harmonious, lyrical and recognizable.
Katerina Kosyanenko paints landscapes and more often in a realistic style, accurately depicting monuments, states of lightening, seasons and the artists emotional condition.
The tendency to use pastel gamma and complex colour combinations are also found in her works.
In many of her works, there is no clear-cut contrasts, which in turn creates a sense of lightness, softness and harmony, the infinite variety of complex color combinations.
